About Us
We began our journey in July of 2007 under the name Outdoor High Adventure. But two years later, the name was changed to Wild Backpacker and a completely redesigned site was launched. Then in May 2011, Wild Backpacker underwent another facelift and added new content and features, transforming it into what we have today!
Based in the beautiful outdoor landscape of Utah, we were founded to spread the love of backpacking around the world. We provide all the knowledge and information a backpacker could want in one easy place – WildBackpacker.com.
